My two favourite Yorkshire landscapes are rolling hills of yellow oil seed rape in bloom and purple heather. I can't think I've ever actually seen the two together, but I've imagined them in adjacent fields in this piece. I use achillea for its vibrant yellow colour and limonium perezii for its varied shades of purple.
