My two favourite Yorkshire landscapes are rolling hills of yellow oil seed rape in bloom and purple heather. I can't think I've ever actually seen the two together, but I've imagined them in adjacent fields in this piece. I use achillea for its vibrant yellow colour and limonium perezii for its varied shades of purple.

  • A 12.5" square black frame encloses an 8" circular embroidery hoop contained in a cream coloured square mount.
  • The overall depth is around 5cm. The flowers project out of the frame—the artwork is not behind glass so you can appreciate the work's natural relief, texture, and sometimes the smell!
  • White tulle on a light sky blue background with faint horizontal lines
  • Can be hung using the sawtooth picture hanging on the back

Not quite right?

If you'd prefer a piece was behind glass that can be arranged at additional cost. If you'd like a different colour background, or no background at all, just let me know.
